REAL SCIENCE – A Junior Chemistry at Work Event

Thanks to more demonstrators coming forward we have been able to take over 700 Year 6 Children and include nearly all those on the waiting list. Once again Sphere Science fascinated the children with their hands on demonstration in which they had to wire up DC electic motors to solar cells and see, not only, how fast they could… Read More »

REAL SCIENCE – More “Outside” Demonstrators Needed

Due to the increase in demand for places at REAL SCIENCE, our three-day Junior Chemistry at Work event for Year 6 children at the Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre, most of the indoor areas at the centre are now taken. REAL SCIENCE – Junior Chemistry at Work Event

4th May 2015 – Aylesbury College

This was the first time Aylesbury College had hosted Chemistry at Work. The day proved popular and the college would like to host it again next year.  The interests of the groups varied, due to the different courses the students were following,  so next year we will look at linking specific demonstrations more closely to the courses.

March 2015 – Aylesbury Grammar School

Once again the annual Chemistry at Work event at AGS was a great success and this time we had a new demonstrator Karley Weir who  joined our team from TrichoCare and explained the chemistry of hair and the dangers of hair dyes with her demonstration entitled “Lovely Hair – Painful Skin. We had enough demonstrations on the day for… Read More »
